Kitten Goals

The Spider is playing with the Kitten, because how can you not? "Hey little baby, what are you thankful for?" He asks. The Kitten, pouncing on a toy mouse, surrounded by toys, says, "I get to stay with my mom, and I get to play with all my uncle's toys, and there's treats everywhere I go. I even have a dog! I can't believe I got a doggie. I asked my mommy, 'Mom, did you ever think you would have a dog?' and she said no, she can't believe anything that has happened."

Someone is turning six months old over the weekend and he just keeps getting handsomer and more huggable!

TRICK OR TREAT!

Well, my hands have fallen off from making this, so have a Happy Halloween and be careful crossing the streets. I wouldn’t want to have to bury you, you know.

Time To Fly

In a nod to Blade Runner, The Slinky One sits on a roof with a dove. He says, "I seen things you wouldn't believe. I been through the desert on a horse with no name, I took my horse wherever my horse wanted to go, now I'm gonna let this bird fly off and watch it while I sit in the rain. It's all gonna get lost like smells in rain, you know?" The bird coos. "Okay, time to fly," The Slinky One says. In the corner there's a hand holding an origami unicorn. In the background, the Spider, carrying a cane and wearing a moustache and goatee, hangs near a police spinner in the rain and says, "It's too bad they won't live...but then again, who does?"

Last year I was like, “OMG, next year is 2019? BLADE RUNNER HALLOWEEN THEME!” The whole month was going to be a drunk history version of the movie. Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?

In a takeoff of My Fair Lady, Babycat is wearing a straw hat and in standing next to a basket of violets and a bunch of violets laying on the ground. She sings, "All I want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air, with one enormous chair...." The Ninja Twins are standing off to the side. The Slinky One is wearing a top hat and tails. "I bet you could make a lady out of that dame!" he says to The Fluffy One, who is wearing a Homburg and trenchcoat. "No, no, no, no...," says The Fluffy One. "I'm a good girl, I am!" Babycat says, glaring at them from her violets. Babycat wakes from her dream, purring in an enormous desk chair, with her kitten's head resting on her knee.

The Kitten is five months old today, and he and his mom have all chairs forever. Fun fact: One cold and rainy night in 2018, I lured Babycat into the house. The Fluffy One shouts out the window to Uncle Papa, "Ghost Cat! I say, hello?" Uncle Papa looks around, saying, "Oh no, what?" Meanwhile, The Slinky One is hovering near his bro and asks, "Whoa, Bro, you can see me?!" "Ghost Cat, you must take back the daughter and the kitten!" The Fluffy One tells Uncle Papa. "Not cool, man," Uncle Papa replies. "She just wants a better life for her baby. The Slinky One adds, "Aww, but they're okay!"
