Love among the leaves. Ah, summer. ♥
Okay, cheery cicada, I’ll take your clicky word for it!
Every year cicadas show up and every year I hear they haven’t been here for 17 years. IT’S NOT LIKE I CAN SPEAK CICADA, I DON’T KNOW, OKAY?
With the arrival of summer, along come the clicky things in the plants. I will be older the next time you see me. Won’t we all. See you on the other side.
NEXT STOP SUMMER! In the northern hemisphere.
Today was an interesting day. I hope I remember it. It started two weeks ago when my elbows didn’t work and a snail was in the basement, and then today my highlights were The Slinky One pooping again after scaring the hell out of us and a guy I’ve known for ten years giving me a hug because our birthdays are the same week.
Oh, yeah, and my mother needs new knees, but…that’s another story for…July.
When you’re hoping the reason the cat is ruffling the plants is for poop-planting, you know it’s garden snake season. >_> Who am I kidding? I’ll take garden snakes, garden snakes are the sweetest snakes ever.
It’s cooler under the hosta.
The sounds of summer! The nice coolness under the hosta! What is that on my foot?!
All themes melt into one when the sun shines as hot as it does around this time of the year. It got me, you guys. It got me.
As far as anyone has to know we both got pink mowhawks today.
