Fourteen O’Clock!

1. The Puppy is bustin' stuff up to get me to go walkies. She's standing on some pens, some drawings, and my shoe with my foot still in it. "Oh hey, it's fourteen o'clock and time to rock!" The Puppy yells happily. "My foot!" I yell. 2. The Puppy stands on the street wearing her coat, staring. A caption reads: "3 hours later." "No one I know is out here to wish me happy birthdays," the Puppy says. 3. The Puppy is lounging on the floor with the cats. In front of her are three bare plates. Off to the side is a bowl full of food. "...then what did you do?" Babycat asks, fascinated. "Oh, you know, I went up the hill, and across the street, and then I totally came home," the Puppy says, wagging her tail. "But doggie," The Kitten asks, looking up at her, "How come you eat cat food when you have your own food?" The Fluffy One tells him, "Eh, it is the way the sister has always done it."

Aww, Puppy, happy fourteen o’clock! I love you, tan tornado. Baby Yoda totally stole your look. And you totally stole my heart. And the dictionary. And Mum’s glasses and Nan’s audiobooks. It’s Magic!

I'm moving things away from my printer. I'm holding a pin with a picture of my uncle Donnie dressed as Tiny the Clown. The Kitten is sitting on the bed, watching me. "What is the shiny thing? I want it!" he says, reaching out a paw. I show him the pin. "This is my Uncle Tiny. He was fun, like you!" The Kitten reaches for the pin and says, "Gimme!" Holding the pin, The Kitten declares, "Uncles are my favorite thing." The next thing, The Kitten is wearing a top hat with a flower, much like Tiny's. He is standing with his claws out, as a balloon pops. "Oh no!" The Kitten says. "Whatcha doin', bun?" I ask. Looking at the bits of balloon, The Kitten says, "I want to make a butterfly, but my balloon animals keep vanishing."

Okay, so half of this really happened. The Kitten is really good at making pom-pom balls vanish, I should show him the coin trick Uncle Tiny showed me.

Time I Grew an Extra Arm or Two!

How does this fit into Thanksgiving? I am thankful for steroids, y’all. (BTW I didn’t write The Kitten’s line, my Poppy said something like that to my Nan and they got married on this date and had darn near 30 awesome years together. 🥂)

It’s a Great Thing!

The Fluffy One is climbing the couch to get to his window pillow. The Kitten is sleeping on the pillow and says, "Uncle, I am here." As The Fluffy One settles down on the pillow with the Kitten, he tells him, "Yes, yes, I used to do this all of the time with me bro." The Kitten says, "Wow, it must be great to have a bro." As The Kitten purrs with his chin on The Fluffy One's back, The Fluffy One says, "Indeed." On the wall, there's a picture of The Slinky One licking The Fluffy One with his arm around him.

If two cats ever needed each other, more…well, maybe Captain Tinycat should be included in that. But these two. I’ve already informed the vet he has to keep The Fluffy One alive another 20 years for The Kitten to have his Uncle Fluff at all times.
