The Days Are Getting Longer!

Out in the yard, I look up at the sky and declare the days are getting longer. The Slinky One asks when the days will get warmer, and the Fluffy One agrees. I run past the Puppy, yelling that the days are getting longer. She is happy for longer walkies. The Spider asks me what I will do with the extra minute of daylight, and I point out next week there will be five extra minutes.

If ever I needed an extra couple of minutes in the day! Happy solstice, everybody!
