Put The Kettle On

The Spider finds me hiding in a paper leaf waste bag. He says he thought I moved to another country to teach editing to podcasters. I say "Death abounds, nothing is safe. All I can do is gather leaves and expect nothing in return but uncertainty." The Spider says he'll put the kettle on. My paper bag topples over and I say, "Okay." A bird hops around eating and flies off in the last panel.

This has been one messed up spring.
